The content of the Louis Andriessen Platform is created and managed by an editorial team consisting of Monica Germino, Martijn Padding, Elmer Schönberger, and Mirjam Zegers. They are jointly responsible for all texts, unless otherwise indicated.
An authorised list of works has been established (provisionally) by combining data from the broadcast archives, from the publishers Boosey & Hawkes and Donemus, and from Louis Andriessen's own archive. The so-called ‘Big Book’, in which Andriessen briefly described all his works, was an important support and guide in this process. We display excerpts from this book for all works, showing the title, scoring, duration and place/year of completion in Andriessen's handwriting.
To give visitors some guidance in their explorations of the 369 titles now on the work list, the editors have selected 34 works that together offer a compact overview of Andriessen's oeuvre. The editors have provided each of these works with a brief commentary. The initials indicate the author.
The timeline has been provided by Boosey & Hawkes up to the year 2002. Dutch translations and the period from 2002 onwards have been provided by the editors.
The Louis Andriessen Platform, despite copyright and environmental concerns, uses free translation robots, such as Deepl and Google Translate. We are very happy that we were able to use human intelligence - in this case that of Monica Germino, Vanessa Lann and Neil Wallace - before publishing the texts.

De inhoud van het Louis Andriessen Platform wordt gemaakt en beheerd door een redactie bestaande uit Monica Germino, Martijn Padding, Elmer Schönberger en Mirjam Zegers. Zij zijn gezamenlijk verantwoordelijk voor alle teksten, tenzij anders aangegeven.
Een geautoriseerde werkenlijst is (voorlopig) vastgesteld door combinatie van gegevens uit de omroeparchieven, van de uitgeverijen Boosey & Hawkes en Donemus, en uit het eigen archief van Louis Andriessen. Het zg. ‘Grote Boek’, waarin Andriessen al zijn werken kort beschreef, was daarbij een belangrijke steun en leidraad. We tonen voor alle werken uitsnedes uit dit boek met daarop de titel, bezetting, tijdsduur en plaats/ jaar van voltooiing in Andriessens handschrift.
Om bezoekers enig houvast te bieden bij hun exploraties van de 369 titels die nu op de werkenlijst staan, heeft de redactie 34 werken geselecteerd die samen een compact overzicht bieden van Andriessens oeuvre. De redactie heeft deze werken elk voorzien van een korte toelichting. De initialen geven aan wie de auteur is.
De tijdlijn is verzorgd door Boosey & Hawkes tot het jaar 2002. Nederlandse vertalingen en de periode vanaf 2002 zijn verzorgd door de redactie.
Het Louis Andriessen Platform maakt, ondanks auteursrechtelijke en ecologische bezwaren, gebruik van gratis vertaalrobots, zoals Deepl en Google Translate. We zijn heel blij dat we gebruik konden maken van menselijke intelligentie – in dit geval die van Monica Germino, Vanessa Lann en Neil Wallace - voordat we de teksten publiceerden.
