Through archival footage, practical advice, storytelling and live demonstrations, the series offers insights and tools to unlock the power and precision of his compositions, bringing Andriessen’s works to life for generations to come. In this clip, we see Gerard Bouwhuis at the piano, talking and playing his way through ‘De Staat,’ a piece he knows inside out, plus a glimpse of a 1978 performance in Carré Theatre. |
